Muesli vs Granola
What is the difference between Muesli and Granola
Granola is made dominantly of oats and a smaller number of other
ingredients. Granola's are often coated with a sugary syrup and
deliberately over-baked, which impacts on the nutritional value. It is
often very crisp and super crunchy. Many Granolas and some Toasted Mueslis use
hydrogenated processed oils, GM modified fats, or oils which contain
trans fats. In Brookfarm Toasted Macadamia Mueslis we use only healthy first cold
pressed macadamia oil, which is cholesterol free and high in
monounsaturates - important in a healthy diet. Our complex blend of wholegrains, brans, nuts and fruits makes for a lighter breakfast than most Granola's, that will sustain you for longer.
Brookfarm Natural Macadamia Muesli is not cooked at all. It is made by blending raw unbaked ingredients including rolled oats, barley, 3 different brans (which are high in soluble fibre) dried fruits, macadamia nuts and healthy seeds like sunflower and pumpkin kernels. Natural Macadamia Muesli is the breakfast for the true original muesli lovers.
